The National Animal Care & Control Association Board of Directors is thankful for the on-going conversation around the current state of our organization and its future. We have heard from many members and industry stakeholders at the merger discussions, in emails, and through telephone communications. One item that has been very clear in all of these communications is that more information regarding what a potential merger would look like for NACA as an organization but also for the members working on the frontlines every day.  

Considering this need, I have requested Humane Rescue Alliance to provide a formal proposal to be presented to the membership on January 7, 2021 at 1 PM EST at a Special Meeting of the NACA membership.  

I look forward to seeing you in attendance at this meeting on January 7^th.
