2023 One Voice Conference – Michigan Pet Alliance

The 2023 One Voice: Michigan Pet Alliance Conference & Expo on September 21-22 in Grand Rapids gathers more than 300 staff, volunteers and advocates from animal welfare organizations, shelters and rescues throughout Michigan.

The theme of this year’s conference is Better Together, as we assemble leaders and visionaries to share the latest research and best practices in animal welfare. 

The in-person event at the Sheraton Grand Rapids Airport Hotel will include ample networking opportunities, giving participants time to engage with each other, as well as with our subject matter experts and exhibitors, and to share ideas and experiences. 

This is a dog-friendly hotel (extra fee will apply) and MPA has reserved a limited number of guestrooms for conference attendees and exhibitors at $139 per night. Details are included in the confirmation email you will receive after registering.

Continuing education credits are approved for CAWA from the Association for Animal Welfare Advancement (AAWA) and from Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). CCPDT has approved 2 CEUs for trainers and 2.5 CEUs for behavior consultants.

Keynote presentations will be delivered by Dr. Marty Becker, founder of Fear Free®, and Denise Evans, a leader of ideas on diversity, equity and inclusion.
