Join NACA Board Member Spencer Conover and NACAs ED Jerrica Owen as they present: Roots and Bones: A new look at animal control! Previously presented at HSUS Expo! Across the country, the landscape of animal control is changing daily, and animal control officers are facing tougher, unique challenges every day. We as leaders need to ensure we are looking out for our people first and setting up our team for success in the face of unprecedented hardship. In this session, we will focus on assisting animal care and control professionals with the skills and tools necessary to meet the needs of today’s diverse communities. With a focus on seeking the root cause, asking the five whys, eliminating unnecessary processes, and determining data to better drive success, this session will provide tangible tools, case studies, and examples of how to use the established method of process improvement to enhance the animal care and control experience for officers, agencies and the communities they serve. You are invited to a Zoom meeting. Register in advance for this meeting: After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
