Looking Forward: The Future of Animal Welfare

WHAT: A three-day virtual conference to wrap up the year and propel us into 2022… and beyond

WHEN: Tuesday, December 7 - Thursday, December 9; starting at 1pm Eastern Time each day.

FOR WHOM: Anyone in animal welfare who is interested in thinking boldly and strategically to plan and support long-term growth and mission success

WHY: The content and the community. We’ll be looking at the future through various lenses, so three half-days will give us time to absorb these big topics, and more:

  • Assessing the State of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in Animal Welfare: Where Do We Go from Here?
  • Beyond the Shelter:  Serving the WHOLE Community
  • More Positive, Less Punitive: Finding Balance in Humane Law Enforcement
  • Technology: Your Mission’s New BFF
  • The DC Cat Count: Establishing Common Ground for Collaboration & Cat Population Management
  • The Future of Talent Acquisition and Retention
Plus, we’ll serve up opportunities to connect with colleagues for juicy conversations on timely industry topics. 

Bring your party hat, ‘cause we’ll be celebrating the winners of Hill's Pet Nutrition's PSA Awards (enter now through October 24) and PetHealth's Diane & Bob Hoover Annual Innovation Award!

Conference Registration Fees

The fee includes the entire live conference AND access to all of the recordings through February 28, 2022.

Full scholarships will be available courtesy of Hill's Pet Nutrition. Apply here by Friday, October 22. 

Register for the conference by Tuesday, December 7.

IMPORTANT:  Animal Welfare Professional Members may register themselves plus up to 5 additional non-Association members from their organization’s staff at their discounted member rate. Please log in and register yourself; then click on Save & Add Another Attendee, then add each non-Association member to your registration to receive The Association member rate.

Full refund if requested in writing to [email protected] on or before December 3, 2021.
$50 processing fee if refund requested in writing before December 6, 2021.
No refunds after December 6, 2021.
